Human nervous system is a complex network of thread like nerves and cells that convey messages from the brain and spinal cord to the sensory organs, arms, hands, legs, and feet.

A neurosurgeon is a doctor who specializes in the diagnosis and surgical treatment of abnormalities of the central and peripheral nervous systems, such as congenital defects, trauma, tumors, vascular disorders, brain or spine infections, stroke, or degenerative spine diseases.

Prof. Dr. Md. Mokhlesur Rahman Mukul, he obtained FCPS from Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons (BCPS) in Surgery and M.S Degree in Neurosurgery from Bangabandhu Medical University. He worked as a specialist neurosurgeon at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University, Sir Salimullah Medical College/Mitford Hospital and the National Institute of Neuroscience.
